Silly faces in front of Sacre Coeur
There were a ton of people sitting around the steps as we made our way to the entrance. Sean wanted to sit in a pew for a while to take it all in; Jack was getting tired and sleepy. Sean really wanted to climb up to the top of the dome. He told me not to tell Daddy that we were gonna go because Daddy was tired and wouldn't want to go, and that he (Sean) would talk to Jack and tell him to walk from now on. Too cute. I promised him that we would climb up to the top on our next Paris trip when both boys would be older and Jack wouldn't want to be carried so much. I guess this means we will be returning...

La Basilique du Sacre Coeur
We had read a book about Paris called This is Paris before our trip. So the boys knew about famous landmarks like The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and Sacre Coeur. We opted to take them to Sacre Coeur instead of Notre Dame because of Montmartre itself: the carrousel, the artists, and the hills. Now that we finished our carrousel rides, we had to go up the hill. Thankfully, they have a funiculaire and we saved ourselves 300 steps! And we bought a week-long Metro pass, so the ride was included (already paid for).
